Why Ashvord exists
Wore six different jackets.
None worked.
Built my own.
I spend a lot of time outdoors — hiking, traveling, working in all weather. Everything I tried was too military, too techy, or fell apart after a season. So I stopped buying and started building. The Hybrid Jacket is what I actually wear — every day, in the woods, in the city. If it wasn't good enough for me, it wouldn't be good enough for you. Two years later, it's still the only jacket I reach for.

Is the Hybrid Pant waterproof?
Not fully waterproof — and we'll be straight about that. The DWR coating handles light rain, drizzle and splashes well. For heavy downpours, layer it under a hardshell. Think of it as your go-to piece for 80% of weather, 100% of the time.
How does sizing run?
True to size with a straight cut — built for full mobility without bunching. If you plan to layer underneath or prefer a relaxed fit, size up. Check the size guide below for exact waist and inseam measurements.
What's the pant fabric like?
The pant panels are 100% polyester — durable, abrasion-resistant, and built to handle rough terrain, worksites, or everyday wear without breaking down quickly.
Can I wear it every day or is it only for outdoor use?
Both. The Hybrid Pant was designed with that crossover in mind — functional enough for the trail or worksite, clean enough for the city. The neutral colorways like Black and Gray work especially well as a daily driver.
What's the velcro ankle closure for?
Adjustable velcro cuffs at the ankle lock out wind and drafts, and keep the pant leg from riding up over boots or during movement. Lock it in and forget about it.
What's the knee reinforcement for?
The double-layer polyester knees are built to take abuse — kneeling, crawling, working on the ground — without wearing through. A velcro inner knee closure keeps the fit secure so nothing bunches up when you kneel.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, hang dry. Skip the tumble dryer — heat degrades the DWR coating over time. If water stops beading off after several washes, a short low-heat tumble (10 minutes) can reactivate the coating.
