Wore six different jackets.
None worked.
Built my own.
I spend a lot of time outdoors — hiking, traveling, working in all weather. Everything I tried was too military, too techy, or fell apart after a season. So I stopped buying and started building. The Hybrid Jacket is what I actually wear — every day, in the woods, in the city. If it wasn't good enough for me, it wouldn't be good enough for you. Two years later, it's still the only jacket I reach for.

Is the Kit waterproof?
Not fully waterproof — and we'll be straight about that. The DWR coating handles light rain, drizzle and splashes well. For heavy downpours, layer the Hybrid Jacket under a hardshell. Think of it as your go-to system for 80% of weather, 100% of the time.
Do the Hybrid Jacket and pants have to be worn together?
No — they're engineered as a system but work independently. Wear the Hybrid Jacket alone on warmer days, the pants alone if you need extra pocket capacity, or both together when conditions call for it.
How does sizing run?
Both pieces run true to size with an athletic tapered cut. If you plan to layer underneath or prefer a relaxed fit, size up. Check the size guide for exact measurements — the Hybrid Jacket and pants share the same size chart.
How many pockets does the Kit have total?
14 pockets across both pieces — 6 on the Hybrid Jacket (2 hand, 2 bicep, 2 forearm) and 8 on the pants. None are decorative. Every pocket is sized and positioned for real use.
Can I wear the Kit every day or is it only for outdoor use?
Both. The Kit was designed for that crossover — functional enough for the trail or worksite, clean enough for the city. The Black Multicam and Green Multicam colorways work well as a daily driver.
What are the forearm loop pass-throughs for?
Sewn-in sleeve loops for hands-free carry — slide a pen, marker, torch, or small tool through and it stays put without needing a pocket. A small detail that makes a real difference when your hands are full.
How do I wash the Kit?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, hang dry — both pieces. Skip the tumble dryer, heat degrades the DWR coating over time. If water stops beading off after several washes, a short low-heat tumble (10 minutes) can reactivate the coating.
