Ashvord started with one problem — and one person who got tired of settling for gear that almost worked.
I've spent years outdoors — hiking, hunting, working in all kinds of weather. Over time I bought six different shells. Each one had something wrong with it. Too military. Too techy. Too bulky. Or it just fell apart after one season.
I couldn't find one piece that worked for everything — something I'd reach for on a trail in the morning and wear into the city in the afternoon. So I stopped looking and started building.
The Ashvord Hybrid Shell is what came out of that. It's not trying to be everything — it's trying to be right for the way I actually move through the world. Cotton body that breathes. Polyester sleeves that move. DWR coating that handles rain. One shell, every condition.
The Hooded version came next — same shell, detachable hood for when the weather shifts. The Kit adds matching pants for a complete system. That's the full lineup — and we're not expanding until each piece is as good as it can be.
YKK zippers, DWR 5000mm coating, reinforced elbows. Every component chosen because it holds up in the field — not because it looks good on a spec sheet.
